This is Glen and Gerry hard at work with our April 8th job where we had to have power lines to the house taken down for safety but also had to do this job with as little damage to the front yard as possible. So this job was done in stages .

Here is our tree for the day
Complete removal
Due to the proximity of the homes and power lines this tree will be removed in stages
Here you can see Gerry on a ladder where he is removing the large bottom limb.
Here you can see Gerry is strapped on the tree and is starting to cut one of the lower branches off. He also waits a few mins after his under cut so the tree settles before doing the back cut
Here is Glen using the Electric saw to trim some pesky branches that will make climbing the tree harder for Gerry. If you look to the left you can see the power lines moving and this is due to B.C. Hydro getting the detached at the pole.
Here you see Gerry repelling out of the top part of the tree. He trimming up the branches above so that when this section falls there will be less impact on the ground below and less damage to the lawn
Here Gerry is cutting one of the last remaining limbs and as you can see it is actually leaning towards the house. In the top right corner of the video you will see a rope and it is tied up the limb and the other end Glenn has. This is so that when Gerry cuts the limb off Glenn will pull it towards the road and then no damages will incur to the house
Here you can see Glenn clearly tying the rope around his waist for added pull power when he will need it.Gerry is now cutting the last limb of the tree and when done all that will be left is the stump.
